YOUTH FISHING DERBY
Come join the Medicine Lodge Police Department, Barber County Sheriff's Department, Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks for the annual Youth Fishing Derby in June. For kids of all ages from 1 to 18. Held at the Barber County State Fishing Lake the program brings in over 100 kids each year. The program was started to bring law enforcment and youth together. |

BICYCLE SAFTEY
Helping youth undertand the importance of bicycle saftey. Talking to youth about wearing helmets, using lights, reflectors and operating a bicycle safely. |
PERSONAL SAFETY AWARENESS PROGRAM
Helping kids understand the importance of personal saftey. This program deals with strangers and abuse. |
